When you complete Shadow it puts you back to a stage before the final battle. Pretty sure it says that in a message when you load up a completed save.
so much better than the forge dlc. its reatt GREAT. THANK YOU
My only regret is, I didn't use a save slot when I started the Piller. Now I have to play thru again to it's unlock. As hard as it was to get thru, I wanted to do it again once it ended. HA who knew.
The Pillar was a step in the right direction but in terms of writing...
*SPOILER*
... it just seems to kind of kill the momentum of the main plot. Lara is already racing against time to stop an apocalypse. She wouldn't give a crap about some shield (and neither would the main antagonist), considering the main artifact at the center of the plot allows the user to recreate the world as they see fit.
Why would the villain care about some shield...?
Writing aside, in terms of gameplay, it definitely adds to the "large-need" of the world.
The cutscenes aren't motion captured like the main game so you can tell it was recorded after everything else.
But who knows.
Yeah, the pillar itself (gameplay, rewards and costume) is all amazing.
