Problem with Stone Pillars

I tried really everything to get this to work, but it doesnt work 4 me :( maybe you got any tips or suggestions...

I reach the MayaTemple, and then I see two stone Pillars, with 2 Black Stone Plates with Symbols on it, under them are two wheels which could be turned. As i git this problem, i tried to find a solution at Youtube, but there it looks a bit diferrent. 1 st there are 4 of thjos black stone plates, and 2 nd, the turn when Lara turns that wheels under the Pillars. In my game, nothing happens when i turn those wheels, so that the Bridges from the sides come out to get ahead in the game. I tried to look for errors in the files on my HDD with the Steam tool twice, everything is okay, my system is alright too, latest drivers etc... I even tried to start the level all over again,'cause I thought i forgot something or so...
Does anyone have this problem too ? Is there a fix or solution for that issue ?

I don't like that the game is finished here for me just because of an error, i can blow my money on way better ways, or just throw it outta the window, just because the work on the game is not made good.

Maybe you can help me, I'd be very grateful on that.

when standing with the pillers to the left n rite of you, turn the 1 on the left 1st, a stone bridge will rise up, cross it and push the switch on the door. in that room is part of the combination you need. do the same on the rite side. if you get stuck, find me.

if you line the plate's the correct way you can run down the hall there and push that switch on the door. do it incorrectly and the floor open's and you die.

Thanks for your answers, but I think you don't got the problem. the problem is, that the pillars don't move, i can turn on the wheels how much i want, nothing happens. so the bridge does not appear anyway... i'd love to play the game further, but without being able to solve this puzzle, its not possible... :(

If the wheel turns left and rite then the plate's on top should also turn. If your that far into the game then you have done this b4. Try going back to your last campsite save and try again. I have yet to see or hear of this happening to any one else.

Could you post a screenshot so we can see determine where you are and what the problem is? If you're on the puzzle Thumper's giving you the solution to, the trick is to use the glyphs on the chambers to the left and right to complete the pillar puzzles. From memory, there should be around 5 tiers in total per pillar. Starts with 3, then with each correct pairing the pillars will gain an extra tier, until the puzzle is completed. And, yes, the piranha that follow are a bastard if you don't time it right.

sry, even cyborgs like me have to sleep sometimes :D the problem is - the wheels turn, but the plates above the wheels don't... hum, a screenshot wouldn't help here I think 'cause you need the moving picture in that case don't ya ?

No, I really don't need a pic or a vid to understand what your saying. I do find it odd that this occured in your game. Have you tried again since we last spoke?

Ill try to upload some screens of this... no I haven't sinca I got up bout 10 mins ago, butr I will try again, even with moving back to a camp and savin there...

But how can I upload any screens here in this Forum ? I'm not used to it, sorry... :s

Ok, well drink some coffee and load game from last camp save and go from there. don't resave to a new slot.
