Free Trial?

I jumped on Rise of The Tomb Raider tonight and a box pops up in game telling me to get the free trial. Oh yeah, I forgot about that, clicks link to 'buy now' figuring it would bring me to Steam... nope, nothing happens, as a matter of fact, my mouse now doesn't work in the game...

Close game and go to steam game page... click free trial button... a box pops up for the eula but it's blank, scroll bar doesn't work, nothing does....

Is this some kind of joke?

IDK what happened to your mouse. But others have had trouble tring to download the demo of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Why don't you restart your PC then look into getting the demo. It's about an hour or so of game play. Check the forum here, there is a topic that may help you.

The mouse is fine, it was the game that screwed up, once I relaunched the game the pop up box did not come back and the game works fine.

The free trial, however seems to be a waste of time since there seems to be no way to actually get it, at the moment.

If this is an omen on how good the game is, maybe I'll just skip this game.

LOL, everybody seems to have some odd reason not to get this game. It's far better then what you see or read in the forums here. It's not Rise, and will take roughly 30hrs to complete. The demo's not much. But if you like playing TR you will enjoy this one.

I'll probably buy it once Feral makes the Linux version, that's when I bought RoTTR, about a year after launch.

i got all 3 TR at launch, didn't rush into the DLC's and put in close to 700+hrs into the 1st two. I'm 370+ in shadow already. 8+ play-thrus, so yeah it's just as good as the others. The puzzle solving goes way beyond the past TR's and I found my way thru those, some took longer but I had fun.
