Swan dive troubles on the pc
I am working my way through the Hidden City challenges and trying to get the Swan Dive challenge completed. I have only been able to get credit for 2 dives in more than 20 tries (at several different locations).
I am on a PC and using a game controller (Razer Orbweaver), keyboard, and mouse. I am standing at the edge of the platform, pressing space bar, and then C. I have even tried running and jumping. But 90% of the time she just does a feet first drop.
Suggestions on what I am doing wrong (I have no idea why it worked properly the two times it did because I don't think I did anything differently) would be appreciated. Is my timing wrong, am I positioned wrong, is my luck wrong?
Thanks.

There's one location where swan dive is impossible. You might be trying it there

You only need 4 platforms to get the swan dive challange complete. Lucky for you there are 6-7 spot's for you to swan dive into the water. Now to perform the swan dive, stand in the platform press foward, jump, and when she in the air, press roll/evade. Those are the 3 command keys required. The platforms where she can complete the dive's will highlight when you stand close to one of them.
Yea i have the same problem pressing all the right keys but she won't swan dive.

follow what i said in my last reply, she will swan dive every time.

Please provide screenshot of the area you're trying to do this in. There's an area with a very VERY big jump and the swan dive is not possible to be used there. Instead Lara will always jump feet first and cross her arms.

I'm pretty sure this is the area you're talking about and it's not possible to do a swan dive there.

The Swan Dive only counts if you get the hint before jumping.
If using KB/M, at the edge of the platform, press W, press spar bar (to make her jump) as she jumps from the platorm, press right MB. Lara will Swan Dive every time.
Make suire you are not pressing any other "buttons" while pressing the right MB. If pressing any other "buttons," Lara will not Swan Dive.

Unless OP reply's back, we have no way of knowing. Your probably rite, and he's tring to dive where he's not pose to. we'll probably both be asleep by the time he reply's anyway.

Thanks for the help. Swan dive challenge complete. I followed Sam's explicit instructions and she did a swan dive, however Lara's actual performance score would not get her a medal!

If you are diving from the yellow pools location, then you need to jump early, not at the edge of the platform. Otherwise the dive won't work.

Hey this trick made it work for me in the hidden city! I was jumping too late on the edge and the other side, which is rock, would make Lara knock on the rock. Jumping way before the edge then pressing the dive button worked in first try of z64fan13 method.

Yep, I had the same problem, but jumping early and using the right mouse button rather than 'C' worked first time. Before then it had always been hit or miss whether it worked, usually the latter.

Looks like 'C' works fine as well, it's just the jumping early that seems to be the trick.

Do your jump as usual, but press 'c' 'right after' you jump. you get dive every single time.
