Challenge Tombs Score Attack
So I have played 2 of the challenge tombs so far(the ones from the story, not the extra DLC challenge tombs) and it seems that as far as score attack goes it is completely unforgiving. In rise as long as you knew the location and where the whisps were, getting gold wasn't a huge thing. But with SOTTR I went through the tomb enough to undersdtand it, to know where the whisps were and what order to get them in and was able to go through the whole tomb without losing my combo once(which you could even do when it came to Rise as long as you messed up towards the beggingng). Yet somehow I still couldn't seem to earn gold score. what it finally took was going back and knowing which lanterns I could save till later, once my combo multiplier was higher and getting them then. The challenge tombs in Shadow don't seem to give you ANY breathing room whatsoever. Did anyone else find this to be the case? And if not, what are your strategies for obtaining a gold in score attack that I may have missed?

It's uncompleted, unfinished and unpolished, still it's better game than Shadow.
In Shadow the movement mechanics are improved. The only feature that's better in comparison to Rise.
The movement mechanics. Nothing more.

PS

Ah, also swimming and diving. No harpoon, no enemies, frogmen and frogwomen. That's all, nothing more.

i would definitely agree that Rise is a better game. Though not sure what you are talking about when you say uncompleted, unfinished and unpolished. Was that a copy and paste. I'd say Rise looked better even. Rise definitely had easier score attack challenges though. I guess I'll just have to keep trying.

Look for hidden things to shoot to keep your combo going, and don't shoot them all at once.

The leaderboards are full of cheaters, glitchers, trickers and bugers. Unpolished.
The story in Rise is not completed. The story in Shadow has nothing to do with the story in Rise. Shadow is just a stand alone game involving it's own story. You feel that the story writer isn't the same person or story writers. Of course it's our opinion.
Rise has much harder score attack if you really understand what we've posted.
Shadow score attack is just a walk in the park. The highest possible result (no cheaters, no glitchers, no trickers, no bugers) is a walk in the park in all maps they've decided to release and call tombs.

All maps might not be included in Rise but there are still like 20 challenge maps just for score attack runs. That is plenty for me. And as far as the leaderboards: there is not an online leaderboard on PC that hasn't been hacked to some extent. But I agree with you on the story for SOTTR. It was definitely lacking. There just wasn't much to follow or connect, And with only like 5 areas it really relied heavily on the challenges and collectibles and if you enjoyed that stuff.
In my opinion though Rise's challenge score attacks were much easier to me. The fact that it included all the different pickups (documents, caches,) along with the whisps and lanterns only made it easier as those weren't required to finish or gain gold they just helped keep your combo along the way. Something that SOTTR doesn't do. in SOTTR if I grab herbs from a bush or a tree or wahtever it doesn't extend your combo meter or add to it like it does in Rise. That is what I mean about my original post. I know the challenge tombs I have tried pretty well and even with a perfect run I can't seem to get gold.

A half work. Even less, because they've released only 2 out of 30 Remnant Resistance maps and only a small part of the game Survivor mode.
There are games out there the developers keep the leaderboards clear. We don't really care.
It's just a fact that the leaderboards are infested with cheaters, glitchers and bugers.
Depends on what score attack result you want to achieve in Rise. If you want to make higher and higher and higher score attack it's much harder to do the exact order of collectibles and shooting (lanterns and enemies). Never mind you don't understand it anyway.
We want to make our best score, not your very easy achievable gold score.
Try to achieve the higher possible score attack in Rise and in Shadow.
If you are able of doing it, you'll see that Shadow Highest Score Attack is a walk in the park.
Community Leader must be a very good player in order to be respected.
Never mind, you don't understand it anyway.

Easy gold? In shadow, gold IS the highest score. Hence my OP 'WTF up wit Shadow score attack.'

As far as collecting whisps and stuff that part really is the same for both games I understand it greatly. All this isn't even what my origianl post was about

It seemed to be plenty for those who made the game. That is probably exactly how much they planned on releasing. You can't say the 'whole game' is incomplete and unfinshed because there isn't enough repitition of areas in every mode for you. if they added that much it would be overwhelming

Never seen it

So you don't have a strategy.....

If it is the community leader badge you had a problem with I will of course take it down now. We at Steam would probably agree that it is no longer relavent. I leave you with my greatest apologies and there is no way you guessed all those hearts.
