Lara walks on her own...
I started playing the game again and there is a strange bug where Lara keeps moving to the right no matter if I use keyboard or a controller. Anyone else running into this issue?

Nope. Sounds like a controller/keyboard issue.

Similar thing here. She keeps moving a bit then stops, started happening after Nightmare DLC installed.

I ended up having to remove my Xbox One controller from the list of devices in Windows, then connecting the controller again and letting Windows do its thing. That seems to have solved the issue. Had to re-identify the controller in Steam also. I too never had this issue prior to the DLC update.

BEFORE doing this I tried a number of controllers/keyboards and all of them did the same...so it is a bug, just a weird one.

I have the problem also, and have adapted it to my game play skill set. Annoying, but backing up on the left/toggle stops the motion. I tried to do the fix but the XBOX app in my APP list install is dulled out for uninstall. Don't know why.

Well what did you expect? She is a strong and independant woman. Doesn't need anyone behind a keyboard to decide her actions.

I had this issue when the game first came out, I thought my xbox controller had broken, but the first patch somehow fixed it.
Maybe the update cleared the controller prefs 🤷🏻‍♂️

Something like that happened for sure. It was the only game giving me such an odd issue both with a controller and keyboard.

Same issue here. Lara just walks over damn cliffs and everything. Total pain in the @@@. Tried removing and re-adding my Xbox one controller (which was about a week old) and no luck. Same controller worked on other games just fine. Looking into it I saw there was a similar glitch on the first TR game so maybe they can put together a fix for this too. Until then I may be going to Square Enix for a refund b/c this makes the game unplayable.

So, I *think* I found a fix. I just tried my steam controller and she stopped walking on her own. So I figured it was something about the Xbox controller and steam not playing nicely. I turned the Enable Steam Input setting to OFF (I had it set to auto before) and deactivated Xbox configuration in the Steam controller settings, restarted the game with new settings and so far so good. I'll keep monitoring and report back if I find anything different, but maybe the fix is simpler than I'd thought. Fingers crossed!

Same here (wired 360 controller). But I just moved Lara a bit and the problem was gone (it came back after a while though). Did anyone report this to the dev?

Sadly a common problem with XBone/360 gamepads. Had the issue myself until I changed to a Dualshock 4. It is called stick drifting, feel free to google it.
