Does anyone know how to work that puzzle when you're inside the temple and you have to unite those two pillars and spin the circles evenly so that oil will flow through them? Is there some sort of bug??? I been busting my ass off trying to align them and every time something goes wrong. Getting really sick of this

Originally when I first played, it was 2 turns to the left with the small pole, then cut the rope and move the large one 2 turns to the right (somehow back to the original position for the large pole) and boom it was done.
However lately it seems I can't do squat as it took me over an hour yesterday to get the wheels to align.

These are much easier than they might come off as.

Just connect them with rope until you get the farther piece in the right position, I believe there's only one trail on that one that actually leads to the end where the fire needs to go, so it should be easy to figure out.

Then just cut the line and turn the other platform until you can align that with the other piece.

You only need to connect them so you can actually rotate the other platform, you do not need to keep them connected to somehow match them that way.

Yeah, that rope connection throws most people off - you have to set the farthest one (without a crank) first, then cut the rope and set the other one. Pan the camera straight overhead and you can see the troughs clearly.
