Lara's face looks worse than Rise

Graphics are downgrades a bit in this game. Not only Lara's face but the entire game looks a worse than Rise and I am certain this is only because PeasantStation 4 was playing Rise hardly at 24fps.

No they just changed the developers. It's no longer Crystal Dynamics making the games, it's Eidos Montreal now. And just look at the graphics of games Eidos has made in the past, they're all ugly.

The only "ugly" thing about Oblivion was people's faces, but that's all due to FaceGen being absolutey ♥♥♥♥♥♥ software at creating realistic good looking and varied facial structures, not so much Bethesda. And you can easily mod people into having better looking faces.

I know. Because I love Oblivion. But I experienced it without mods, because I haven't bought the expansions or the GOTY edition.

Everyone gets offended by the portrayel of above average female beauty these days and game developers are in business to make money, not games, so they have to avoid bad press and touchy feely current issues in the market they are aiming at.

On top of that I don't think it's a coincidence that Nvidia is releasing the gtx 1180 less then a month before the game goes live.

I hope they improved the wireframe this time. In Rise Lara had no hip joints, she just kinda flexed like a plastic spring. Modders can do better work then that.

I wish they would've used Alica V for a model. I think her looks fit the role well, especially after she got so buffed for the part.

Sotr Lara Model still looks more beautiful than 90% of the real life female population. My only real issue with her is the muscle mass they added around her arms. It looks like she's been lifting like crazy. I'm not saying that women can't be strong, for all you degenerate SJW's out there that are lying in wait to pounce, I'm just saying that I personally believe it was a wrong choice. Lara has never been muscular before. It's a break away from her canonical appearance.

I'm replaying Underworld right now and I can't help but wonder why Lara doesn't have that perfect butt anymore. It is in the center of our FOV for most of the game after all. Why can't it look as good as it did back in 2008?
