Dive challenge is broken

I am at the first tomb in the hidden city wheres theres a big hole that you are supposed to dive for the challenge but she never fcking does it,when im down there close to water and jump it works flawlessly everytime.. (XBOX One controller)

You may require 5 high dives, but I'm certain there are more than 5 spots to do this, so if you can't do it there, then don't worry, I think there are 6 or maybe even 7 places to do the 5 dives.

And just to be certain, make sure you jump off the wooden ramp, and in some cases, there's even a visual guide above the wooden ramps that indicate that challenge-dives can be made there.

Oh i was talking about in the TOMB close to it..is it a challenge worthy dive?

I did this myself the other day and had no problems with it. I think the wooden ramps are all marked with small red flags?

There are only 4 dive points you need to do to complete the challange.

You may think it's a "challenge" worthy dive, but if the game doesn't say it is, it is not.

Apologies, I stand corrected. Thumper is right, only 4 dives are needed for the challenge, and as Brix said, there are usually red flags on the wooden ramps. I played the game again just now just to check quickly, and, as far as I can tell, here are the 6 places where you can perform the 4 dive points.

1) Transition point between TRIAL OF THE EAGLE (map-name) and Hidden City. Before discovering Paititi for the first time, after swinging from hook to hook for dear life, Lara can jump off the cliff and into the lake. Incidentally this is the only dive point with no ramp and red flag (if I remember correctly), and this is the only dive point where, once you've gone past, you can't go back (because the cliff is not climbable and the hooks which you swung from collapse, as is scripted in the game)

2) Crypt closest to where Black Wolves (and their map-icon) are at, which is somewhere near where Lara meets Unuratu's son for the first time (just before discovering Paititi).
Nearest Base Camp: ABBANDONED VILLAGE (Edit: Corrected from "hidden" to "abandoned")

3) Between UNURATU'S HOME (Base Camp) and the Northernmost Monolith (which is just near MOUNTAIN TEMPLE area). The ramp here should be opposite of (and hence facing) the cliff of the crypt that you have to go to for Uchu's second side mission (retrieving artifact)

4) Just above the Base Camp TEMPLE PATH, and that this in itself is en route to a Tomb entrance. (The Tomb itself has the TEMPLE OF THE SUN Base Camp, and features shining beams of light to solve the puzzle). These Base Camps are southernmost on the Hidden City Map

5) Base Camp WILD JUNGLE which is in the vicinity of the White Capybara icon. There is a Crypt here where you first have to jump and climb up a tree. Climb up a few rocky walls, hop here and there to reach the top, and there should be a ramp. Incidentally, the lake which you jump into is the same lake that leads to a Tomb entrance (underwater).

6) Base Camp WILD JUNGLE near the end-game, provided that you did all of Uchu's side missions prior, the last diving spot can only be accessed after doing what is required of the side mission. Rather than exiting where you came from, you can jump off a ramp which leads into the same lake as that of number 5.

There's one at the highest point in the Hidden City, where the guys are tending the big rice paddies. Look for a boarded-up hole in the wall where you need the Reinforced Knife to cut the ropes holding the boards (or is it the Rope Ascender to pull the big board down? can't recall now).
At any rate, clear the boards and go for a dive.

There's also one that's kinda close to a challenge tomb in Paititi, and it's so close that you'd think you were on it already, or could at least jump to it, but it actually leads out of another area from a later mission.

Then there's one where after you go looking for the Leader's Amulet, IIRC. When you come out, it's to the left.

It won't be cause you can't find it. There are more then 4 dive points. Odd's are your gonna trip over 1 of them before you see the end. Don't waste time looking for nothing. Stay the course.

i cant get the one by the temple path, its on my map as unfinished, the ramp shows yellow in survival instincts, but no matter how many times i jump off it it still wont give it to me, its the only one i need and i think its broken (xbox one x)

Then 1/ use the KB / M or look for another dive platform. Or there is more there then what you need keep looking and you'll find another.

Jump way sooner than normal and it will work if you jump to late it won't work. Had this same issue myself.
