You can't. It isn't a glitch and the outfits are locked for hidden city and the major part of the story and nobody likes that restriction when you literally paid for those outfits.

Thanks, really ? it is a restriction. It is such a BS, whats the point of extra outfits, I dont want to wear these customatmry rags. Rage ! Like you said I got Croft edition to get more outfits and I cant even use them. Will it be the same for new game + ? Thanks.

Same for new game+ also the game doesn't respawn enemies, so your weapons are useless too.

the outfit change only applys when needed. while in Paititi proper, you must wear 1 of the 2 outits required, if not some parts of the story will not unlock. once outside the city you can change to some of the others. keep in mind 17 of those outfit's do nothing and are of no benifit or use to you.

it is the same no matter NG+ or NG. You cannot change outfits in Paititi until a certain point and I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly when you can change.
However, once you reach the point when you can wear different outfit(s) the game will automatically put you back into the original Paititi outfit or the other outfit required to get around upper Paititi.

I believe you can wear any outfit after you visit upper Patiti.

This is indeed very annoying. Paititi is where a huge part of the story happens, and we are locked with a few clothes.

This sort of restriction does not make any sense. Why are we restricted like this? All these cool outfits and I am forced to wear blankets.

I think it has something to do with Lara's tank tops being seen as "scantily clad", and so, for the sake of political correctness, she has to show effort in "respecting the culture of the natives", by either wearing Paititi-themed clothing, or have the hide of some exotic animal draped over her shoulders, which is a strange messasge to send out whilst trying to mantain the political-correctness facade.

Lara showing effort in covering her skin is a bit silly, since three quarters of the men in Paititi are just strutting around in nothing more than thongs or G-strings, and in some cases, even dental floss to cover their meaty carrots.

Yeah, exactly. It seems silly as usually in these tribes women and men are (like in game) half naked. Woman have wrinkled skin and soggy breasts and men are walking with their bits out. Tank top suddenly does not look so scary. I want my tank tops.

this is really great. SJWs and feminist are the main gamers that's why it was made for them.
i didn't buy this sad dumb game so i don't have this problem of outfits...

I think that is more of hide modern clothes than cover Lara´s skin, that is why you can't either wear modern weapons on Paititi. For example you can wear the Wraithskin outfit from Rise of the Romb Raider as it is composed of leather and skulls. And some of the allowed outfits reveal more skin than the forbiden ones

Immerson.
Also, Lara is hiding from Dominguez and his henchmen, so she's going to walk around in "costumes" that don't match the locals, etc.
