Lara Croft in VR? Yes it's bloody amazing!
Unfortunately not many AAA- games are available in VR, but luckily VorpX exists.
I play VR games since the Oculus DK2 and this Lara Croft game is one of the best games I ever played in VR. Many games developed exclusively for VR can’t compete with this game.
If's an awesome feeling to climb and jump with Lara in VR. Also the environment looks fantastic in VR.
If you own a VR headset you just need VorpX as an additional program to make Tomb Raider work in VR.
Here are the settings I use. I play with a HP Reverb headset and get about 60fps with my 1080Ti graphic card. It's best to play with a xbox one gamepad.

Note: If you think, the cut scenes are to narrow you can press the right thumb stick on the gamepad to increase the view distance.

ingame graphic and picture settings
- exclusive full screen: ON
- resolution: 3840*2160 depends on your headset (if high resolutions can't be choosen do this: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3587/~/how-to-enable-dynamic-super-resolution-in-games)
- stereoscopic: side by side
- stereoscopic: 3D - separation: 4 clicks from 0 to the right
- stereoscopic: 3D - popout: 18 clicks from 0 to the right

the rest of the graphical settings (shaddows, AA,...) you can set depending on your PC power

vorpX settings in game
(press left thumb stick on the gamepad to open the VorpX menu)
- Play Style: Immersive Screen Mode
- Screen Distance Offset: 0.30

have fun

For the 3D you are using older drivers then because nivdia stopped support for 3D which is a shame.I didnt know VR headsets showed 3D how much was your setup?

I'm not using older drivers. All drivers are up to date also the newest NVidia drivers. You can play many games in VR, even they don't have nativ VR support. Here you see a list of games which are supportet:
https://www.vorpx.com/supported-games/

Some games f.e. like Resident Evil 7 are shown in real VR (like the PS4 version).
You need a VR headset (Oculus, HP Reverb, Valve Index,..)and a pretty strong gaming PC. So PC about 1500$ and a headset and VorpX.

You'll need a VR headset anyway if Half Life Alyx is released end of March. :D

Thanks for highlighting this here. Tried it in Vorpx and it is indeed incredible!

Its also working with Bigscreen VR Remote Desktop. Quality can vary on wireless connection, but via LAN its stable. Additionally, you can invite friends to the BigScreen room. Had to deactivate DLSS completely, its struggling with the SBS mode I think.

and does it looks normally in VR headset even with the pop-out effect? (and I suspect that it is not really a VR - because you see her and not directly throu her eyes ?) - Becuase I use 3D video projector and I had to set pop-out to zero, and separation I did set at level 5; Because I, as I already wrote somewhere here, the pop-out effect only makes seems everything longer - in some scenes - when she is climbing in a hole - here neck was very unaturally long, or the image seems just wrong when you move camare too look from down to up or from up directly down - longer limbs, etc.... or some items are not at screen at all or are very near to your eyes - that it is uncomfortable too look at.
