Rebellion Lives invisible wall
I am doing the Rebellion Lives side mission at the main gate. after talking to etzli, i am unable to proceed forward due to a invisible wall
I have tried restarting the game, fast travel to a different base camp and then back, change my outfit..nothing is working. i am unable to proceed forward. here is a video:

What can do i finish the mission? is my game now bugged out and the only way to fix it is by starting a new game file?

It'a a glitch from the last patch v.247. Exit the game, goto your steam library rite click Shadow TR anf goto properties. select the beta tab and change the build from 247 back to 241. After it installs, return to game and you can pass the inviso wall. When you see the icon bottom left corner, it's auto-saving. Exit game return to properties and goback to the 247 build. When complete return to game and continue from there.

Once you past into that area you cannot goback unless you do all of what I just told you.

Not trying to be a ♥♥♥♥, but I really wish people would search through the forums before making a new thread. There's been about a dozen of these opened this week.
Okay, so you've got two options:
If you've been manually saving your game, roll back to a save before you spoke with Etzli.
If you haven't, go into the game's preferences through your Steam library, and roll your game back to a previous beta build.
That should resolve your issue.

It'a also addressed in the pinned patch note's top of forum. The other thread on this topic can't be more then a page or 2 back, also you can't go back to v.245. it must be v.241.

Since this was the first result I found searching google, I'll chime in and say that this approach fixed the issue for me. Currently reverting to 243 and 241 are options. I went with 241 beta option and switced back to the most recent version after reaching the oil fields.

Switching back and forth did not seem to cause any problems for me, nor did I lose progress in content that was not available in the 241 version but I had completed in the most recent version.

Yes...it works fine....only issue is you need 243 if you want to play the "Forge' DLC and you'll need 247 to play the "Pillar' DLC...if you don't have the 2 DLC then just keep the game at 243 till they release another patch..

That's true and is what we all did. However if you had used the forum here during your play thru, you would have seen my reply, used it, and not have to use the older build.

Minor point, when you use the old build to cross the false wall, at the 1st auto-save, quit and go back to v.247.

If you are referring to me..I did my first play thru way before the 'invisible' wall appeared...
when I first started ...the game just got released and most if not all of us were getting those 'freeze frames...until someone posted about setting 'high priority' in task manager...seems every patch brought in some kind of issue we all had to deal with...the 'wall' is just the current one.

there no reason to use 247 unless one has the Pillar DLC.

Did you see the Rise got an update a few weeks back?
people can't play co-op now in Endurance mode....some can't even get the game to start now.

No, man you been spot on with your comments n replys. and like you I been playing since release, with 5-6 play-thru's before the Forge came out. Yeah aside from some sound n studder issues, I've found no reason to stop.

The game does auto-update unless you tell it not to (and most don't) so there gonna have issue's.

I don't know if you seen the invisable wall false claim topic I put up (title may be alittle off) but you'll see it.

No, I did not know about Rise TR, I uninstalled it the day I got Shadow. Hope they fix that issue too, lots friends still play that.

BTW i sent invite.

What I was trying to say was: I had completed Pillar and the the stuff from completing that came back after restoring. Good to know that's not an issue. I did encounter some other little issues (like sound cutting out momentarily) in the older version so switching back was appealing.
