What happened with the blood?

It's just me or the blood has been removed from the game? I can't see any blood when shooting or executing silently an enemy.Even worse, in the scene when Lara is wouded by a jaguar Jonah said that the wound looks bad. But there is no wound at all!! Her back is perfectly healthy. No blood at all in the whole game!!

No option to control the violence level at least? The combat experrience looks weird , childish and stupid. It's like shooting sand bags. Completely spoiled.

This is an adult game (and promoted like that). Hope this is a transitory issue or a configuration issue that will be fixed ASAP. Otherwise, after this change, Steam should allow to everyone to refund this game since the content is not what the editor promised. Or at least show a big banner in the game page warning that the game has been CENSORED.

I don't recall ever seeing any amount of blood in a TR game. So why should this be any different?

First of all, if the blood was removed, the creative director is clearly not at fault. If it actually was removed post release, it sounds like a Publisher request. The Publishers are the ones who are politically reactive, not the developers.

I am going to boot it up now and see for myself. I wish I never went into this forum. lol

have you played the game soldier of fortune that got released around 2001? it was censored in many countries because of the brutal blood and gore violence you could shoot someones arms and head off the body. anyway!
