Help! Hidden City Mirror Puzzle Bug
The middle pillar starts with light hitting it, making it vertical which makes it unable to solve the puzzle. If I move the light from it, it turns horizontal. (Is this a bug? because my game is the only game I've seen it like that)

In all the tutorial guides to solve this puzzle the middle pillar starts horizontal with light hitting it. When you remove the light from the middle pillar, it turns vertical which is able to solve the puzzle.

At 7:23 in the video it can be clearly seen that the middle pillar is horizontal when light is shown on it, which is different from my screenshot.

The last part is in the far left of the room, thats going to turn the remaining 2 in the middle so you can complete the puzzle.

Turn the 1st mirror to jump to the left side, turn the left to move the 1 on the far rite side. jump back to the rite and make your way to the far rite mirror. Turn it to move the 1 on the left. goback the way you came and to the left side of the room and make you way to that far left corner. Then turn that mirror to move the middle 2 piece's. you'll know what to do from there.

It's not a bug it's not a glitch. you don't have to restart, change resolution or reinstall anything. I've given you everything you need to complete this without giving away too much.

Same problem here, just redoing this tomb again after getting stuck outside, cos I was unable to make the double jump to the ledge (which btw was solved by lowering my screen resolution to 800x600). Now I have completed all the correct mirror moves, but the walkway directly in front of the pavilion is facing the wrong way?? I have been round again already trying to get it to go straight, but so far no luck :(

Have you tried starting a new game and/or uninstalling and redownloading the game? I just don't want to start the whole game all over again for this one silly bug.

Hi, no I have not reinstalled the game and that is something that I will only do as a very last resort! My next option is to go back to a previous save (before the tomb) and see if that makes a difference. I will let you know how that goes.

I already told OP that they needed to move the 4th mirror (far left one) to the middle, but no one has listen to a thing I said.
It''s operator error, nothing more.

I still can't solve this one because when i move the last mirror to the last ledge, the ledge before it (in between) is facing the wrong way

you have to move the far right mirror to it.

far left to the last ledge. far right to the ledge before it.

I'm glad it worked out for you. As I said I gave just enough information without telling you what to do. Using a guide or watching a vid take's away too much and kind'a spoilies the fun.
Cyc70n3 Jan 30, 2019 @ 10:10am
ok, the mirrors are actually numbered 1-4, mirror 4 when you start in the tomb is on the ledge directly in front of the pavilion, the ledge is facing the wrong way. Mirror 3 you need to direct to the ledge in front of it, so you can get back to the mirror 1 location. you then maneuver mirrors 1 and 2 so you can get across to mirror 4. You then move mirror 4 away from the ledge directly in front of the pavilion and point it at the one directly in front of the alter, the result of this move turns the ledge in front of the pavilion the correct way, so you can now make it to the alter. This is what happened on my first play through BEFORE I got stuck out side due to the issue of not being able to make the double jump up to the exit.

The point I am trying to make is that now when I enter the tomb mirror 4 is pointing at the ledge in front of the pavilion, but now the ledge is actually facing the right way, so when I move the mirror to turn the ledge in front of the alter, the one in front of the pavilion moves to the wrong position! I have been round the tomb multiple times (without reloading a previous save) and there is NO WAY to get the ledge to face the right way. I am sorry, but this is in no way user error!

If this is in fact the case, then you may have to reload from a backup save and that should reset the room. Or do you have a save from before you entered the tomb, load it. You will lose any progress you gained and again it will reset the room. But I think you missed something.

Thats the best answer I can give you without saying it's user error.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the comments and the help, but this has frustrated the hell out of me :/

I just reloaded the save which is at the camp fire as you enter the beginning section of the tomb.

After I crawl under the door I checked the location of the dodgy ledge and it is already facing the correct way (that is as it should be to reach the alter), which for me is the wrong way because as soon as I move mirror 4 away from it to turn the other ledge, it moves the wrong way again :(

The most frustrating thing about all this, is that I have already completed this tomb, but because I got stuck outside, I reloaded it again from the start and since then it has been bugged!

Any way, I'll probably leave it there for now, maybe in a few weeks I might feel like reinstalling the whole game again and starting from scratch. Sooo annoying!

No, I do understand you position. Lets go this way instead. When you turn the far mirror on the left side, both cat-walks in the middle will line up so you can cross.

Stu, I sent invite

I've completed the Tomb but I can't double jump from the wall by the zip line just outside the Tomb to reach the ledge back.

Okay I just downed the resolution to 800x600 as mentioned somewhere above and this allows Lara to reach the ledge at the end. That really needs fixing.
