However, for the most part, the numbers are mostly irrelevant- you are constantly moving them in various orders to get through to the goal. However, I found that the mirrors actually became accessible in their numbered order. Also, to help you initially get used to how the puzzle is going to work, one of the "murals" you find right before you walk into the puzzle has the first couple steps to the puzzle's solution, and references the mirrors by number.
The second one on the left of number one is number 2
The 3rd is directly across from it so to the right of number and the 4th is the one across from number 1
They do have numbers if you use survival instincts Lara says they are numbered and if you are close to them she says what numbers they are
