Stuck In Kuwaq Yaku : no way back

Hi Guys,

Now that i have finished the game I'm visiting every locations to get the remaining collectibles. However I ran into trouble when trying to complete the area in Kuwaq yaku located bewteen the Temple of Life Campfire and the Airfield Dirt Road campfire : I have no way to reach back one of those campfires.
When trying to get back to the Temple of Life I can't reach the campfire because I'm at the bottom of a pool of water and when trying to reach the airfield's campfire I can't reach it cause there is no way to cross the area where you fight trinity soldier in the story mission (where there's a plane wreck).
Do you guys have any idea how I can get the hell outta here ?

I found the way out, but it's too high to catch/jump. ugh! I feel stupid now. :(

Yeah I'm stuck in the exact same place. Sadly I haven't finished the main storyline yet either!

I found a wooden wall in the far end of the hangar on the opposite side of the entrance. But it's really hard to jump. I had to try a lot before I was able to jump and climb the wall.

In my memories should this be a wall on the left side (of the great wall between you and the next campfire) ... you can see a small amount of white paint on it. I searched more than half an hour to find it,,.... :/

For anyone else who may stumble upon this irritating predicament, here is the way out: after you dive in from the temple of life base camp, get your treasure chest that started this whole ordeal, and escape the piranha pit of hell, swim up until you’re out of the water. Follow the path all the way until you are forced to squeeze through the vine covered wall. Now, from where you come out on the other side with all the plane wreckage, run as straight as you can, under the plane wing and past a barrel. At this point look to the wall where there are wood boards and you’ll see the vague white paint. Climb it, treck through the mud and you’ll find yourself at the airfield dirt road base camp. Hope this helps anyone struggling as much as I did!

I also have the problem to get out of that area. After jumped into the water full of piranhas there is no way back. When I enter the camp where I previously killed all solidiers I can't jump, run or climb anymore. What is that? Hot stuck in that area. Totally broke game. Anyone knows that problem?

Thanks for the reply. Two weeks from now the first post about that problem appeared. How long should we wait. Restarting the whole campaign isn't an option.

They put much work and bragged about raytraced shadows at the day of the dead location in cozumel, and to never be able to visit that location again after end of game.

I have found a way to get back my older savegame. Under Documents\Shadow of the Tomb Raider\<id> i have some files like save1.dat, save202.dat, save204.dat and save206.dat. I have figured out that save202.dat is used when i continue the game from menu. So i have renamed the oldest save file (save206.dat) to save202.dat and deleted all other save files. Luckily i resumed at "Temple of Light" just before i collected the treasure chest underwater. I hope this will help someone.

The problem is resolved with the latest update.

I used an old autosave on the PS4 - and then never went back to that area....

^^^^^ This. It's really easy to miss, and I've gotten stuck on it at least TWICE now, for longer than I care to admit LOL

Wow that was so frustrating, thanks for the directions. I finished the main story and was treasure hunting, but that area is not a fun place to get stuck.
