Playing on sony hdr 4k tv, GTX1080 TI.
Please watch you settings. You did something wrong. Activate HDR on WIN10, and only then start the game, then activate HDR in-game.
cheers
2x ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX OC SLi
I activate W10 HDR, and then HDR from SoTR option pre-launch. Ingame it is washed out.
I play ither HDR games and it looks great, for example RE7. Anyways Ill try messing around with the options for SoTR.
I must admit, this game is very well optimised performance wise, props to the devs! Straight of the bat I am running 4K all max setting and hitting a constant 77fps. Very impressive to me, well designed engine. I try to play Evil Within 2 on 4K max settings and I get barely 38fps, and SoTR looks way better!
i noticed that changing the refresh rate with HDR enabled below 60 hz fixed the off colours in windows and ingame
seems to be a windows issue since AC:Origins runs well with 60hz and HDR
LG C7 OLED ; 1080ti ; w10
1920x1080p ; HDR @50hz
Anyways, I changed input label to Game Console on the TV and set ingame mode to HDR (Game)
I do also have an LG OLED TV.
HDR mode is automatic when you receive an HDR signal so I believe you must be doing something wrong.
On my TV, with HDR enabled, it looks a bit washed out, but still looks great. What kills for me is having to turn HDR mode on Win10. I don't have to do this to enjoy HDR on Far Cry 5 or AC:Origins for instance.
But what I meant is I cannot really tell that it is activated visually, like you the picture seems slightly dull, although some instances it feel vibrant but very rarely.
So this is why I say I cannot tell if it is activated lol it just doesnt feel HDR'ish for the most part.
I know what you mean. I have the same TV (E6) and also find the HDR kind of washed out. I'll change some settings tonight to see if I can improve image quality.
I have a GTX 1070 and Lg 55C7V, the game looks better in SDR than HDR, it doesn't matter the resolution, all the color are washed out.
So, it is something that thould be fixed, I hope soon for the rest of combitations (AC Origins and FFXV work like a charm).
But that will suck for me, because I am getting 77fps uncapped refresh, if I lower the refresh the game won't be as smooth.
I own the same TV you do.
I've changed the collor range to full on the TV menu and the image improves a bit.
Changing refresh rate doesn't do anything for me...
