how to attach silencer?

just purchased the silencer from the merchant, but i can't equip my pistols with it!
and i can't find the silencer in my inventory :/
how do you attach the silencer?

Fairly certain it attaches itself to the applicable guns.

It attaches itself to all weapons that it's made for.

Not all pistols allow a suppressor. Same is to be said with rifles. Some allow a suppressor, some dont.

Dang shame that only one pistol in my arsenal can attach the suppressor.

There's a second pistol you can buy that uses the silencer. It's a trade off deal - silencer or power. I go power, the bow is for silent killing.

I have three pistols and only one of them allows a silencer. When you purchase it, it is automatically applied to any pistol that can equip it.

If you can remove it, I wouldn't know how. I imagine the designers expect you to just use a different, unsilenced pistol in that case.

I had issues with understanding this as well. On the weapons tab at camp, the attachments count is listed at the bottom of the ratings bar on the right when viewing each weapon. Each weapon auto attach any mods they can automatically. Your attachment might read 2/3 or 1/3 and below that it will list the attachments added to the gun. Not all weapons will hold 3/3 attachments.
