My Performance on a GTX 860m (Laptop) is great
Just wanted to be a sort of benchmark. I have an old Asus G750JM laptop (from 2014) that uses an Nvidia GTX 860m and 4700hq Intel i7 processor. I wanted to get this game, but wasn't sure if I should just get it on PS4 instead of PC due to performance reasons.

I went ahead and got it on PC and I'm happy with the performance. I was running it on 1920x1080 at first, and it was fairly laggy (around 20, and much lower with a lot of trees/people). Then I swapped to 1280x720 and my FPS sky rocketted. I pretty much have all the settings mixed between High and Ultra (save for shadows). It does get a little choppy in dense areas, but overall, the fps seems to stay above or around 30 - which is high considering I'm running it on nearly maxed. In tombs and smaller areas, it is consistently over 50.

Direct X 12 causes it to lag heavily though, so I keep it on 11. So for anyone worried about performance, I'm pretty sure I'm at the bottom of the totem poll, especially when compared to desktop GPUs. Game is pretty optimized; I don't notice any bad quality when reducing to 720p, as cranking up the Anti Aliasing to SMAAT2x gets rid of pretty much all the jagged edges. Just wanted to put it out there in case anyone with my GPU was looking for some info on it.

I have Asus GL552VW and it has 960M.

The game is too gorgeous to be played at a resolution lower than 1080p. But yeah, we're having the same fps.

I play at the High Preset and I'm getting below 30fps. Turning off Tesselation and settung Pure Hair to low helped things slightly.

Yeah usually I'm one to always stick to 1080p but it doesn't bother me playing it at 720p. It still looks pretty good. Usually 720p creates a lot of jagged edges, which is what makes down-scaling look ugly, but I don't notice them in this case.
