[SOLVED] Sound problem
I run the game on minimum (my pc has all the requirements) and the game runs nice and smooth, no graphics and CPU issues.

But I've massive problem with sound. I can only hear background music. There is no sound for dialogues and effects. An I hear "clicking", I don't know how to describe it - the very first Tekken comes to mind.

I found this I hope it helps you.

"To fix the problem of Shadow of the Tomb Raider stuttering on PC, you should change the priority the game has on the Task Manager. Open your Task Manager and find SOTTR.exe. Bump its priority to High, and that should fix the stuttering issue. In fact, it seems to solve the problem across the board, as far as PC goes."

Another solution might be to disable your Geforce overlay, this has been know to cause issues with some games sound.

Good luck!

My SOTTR was already at High priority, but I just managed to solve this. I just changed the Windows sound to stereo.

Although I keep disabling Geforce overlay in mind it the problem returns. Thanks! :steamhappy:

Glad you were able to work things out. I am enjoying the game so far, I just can't seem to relate (might be a better way to describe it) to the characters. They aren't real interesting!

You can do this in the launch options, thru the command line. type priority high in the box and launch the game.

In my case, the problem was fixed when I closed the Alienware Sound Center app. This is not the first case that I had to stop the app to play certain games (only 2 by the moment). If you have some sound application, try to close it and re open the game

I did all this, my only solution was to install it in another disk. I put it on C: . It worked temporarily; in the next gaming session the problem reappeared.

The final solution for me was this;

"Set the game in Windows to high priority. Through Steam, this can be done by right clicking the game, clicking Properties, on the General Tab click the Set Launch Options button, and type "-high" (no quotes, but with the dash in front), then click OK."
