Best settings for 4k 60fps with 1080ti?
As above, seekeing confirmation if this game can run at a stable 60fpd at 4k, and if so what settings would be used for it.
My CPU is an older I7-2600k at stable 4.5ghz overclock, SSD hdd, 16gig ram etc. Video card 1080ti is Asus Strixx OC edition. Been few concerns raised about this game being CPU intensive, though not sure if this relates to multicore usage or just clock speed.

Would be happy with medium settings @4k as long as the game can mostly stick to 60fps, however other videos and threads I have seen seem to indicate that low-medium is only way to get 60fps at 4k, even with 1080ti. Most people seem to recommend going down to 1440p ultra instead of 60fps, but tend to find that the image never quite looks right on 4k panel (32" monitor, or 55" tv).

Nope, wrong. Rise runs at over 60 FPS in 4k with a 1080ti, with no issue. Shadow runs at roughly 50 FPS. Anyone who bothered to look at graphic settings, would also see Shadow has different settings that are more demanding. Rise does not have all the same options Shadow does. Calling these games identical is foolish.

Hey! Shut the hell up! We don't use logic or reasoning here! Obviously this game is exactly same as ROTT. In 2 years of developing game didn't change anything at all. This game looks and feels exactly same as ROTT.
And don't start with giving good and viable explanations! Chromosome knights that seems to populate this forum atm don't take kindly in stuffs like that.
use manual configured resolution in your graphiccard-driver (3840x1620 - its 21:9 and give you about 20fps more in every game!), turn "off" motion blur, antialising (for crisp picture) and depth of field and you get about 80fps average and the perfect cinematic look on your 16:9 monitor :-) I use a 8700K @6x 4,7Ghz, 16GB Ram and Asus Strix 1080TI OC Gaming.

I'm getting an average of 50FPS on 4K with HDR turned on on the stock High preset with nothing changed (i7 7700k, 1080ti, Sony X900E). Said to myself I'll tweak those setting but it looks great as it is so have left it for now. Might try with shadows and AA reduced as sugested above.

not on max settings. I have the game and know damn well it does not even average 60 fps on 4k much less maintain it. even on just the very high preset which is not even max settings.

and this backs me up. 52 fps on very high DX12 preset which again is not even max settings as four of the settings have to be manually changed such as shadows.

making up BS claims is not logic.

It's not BS claim that SOTR is graphivcally more demanding game than ROTT. Itt's a fact.

it looks better but it runs at nearly identical performance at 4k with a 1080 ti. the games are within 10% of each other on their highest presets.

Honestly i can't say anything about that. When i played ROTT i had differen't card so i can't compare SOTR and ROTT 1080 ti performace.
I also dont play at 4k i play at 1080p and if i recall correctly i played ROTT maxed without any issues.
SOTR i play on high 1080p and i get fps drops and lags. I do have 12GB ram so i guess my pc is running out of ram. I Also play on win7 and game has been prolly made for win10.

But if i compare my experience with ROTT and SOTR then SOTR runs like s**t.
Thanks for suggestions all. Will give some of them a try.
I may have found a fix for the bad DX12 performance and crashing.

Make sure you update all Visual C++ redistributables and Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributale 4.0. Did that on my machine and I seem to be able to play in DX12 without crashing for about 45 minutes now. Previous record was maybe 5.
I forced 3200x1800 in the regedit settings. Seems to run very well at max settings.

Quite ignorant of you to ignore the hundreds of people posting everywhere about the absolutely abysmal performance on a lot of different 1080Ti cards. Not all. Some people are not having those issues, but you're a fool to act like your situation is the only one people are experiencing.

How perform the AUDI R8

;);)

It is an S8, and I love it. :)
You might have to find it yourself. You CPU might cause a bottleneck. Someone with the same GPU and CPU with more threads might able to achieve different settings than you. Run the benchmark, tweak the setting tell you get where you want with a little headroom so you can keep a solid 60fps.

That benchmark in the game is a pretty solid represention of what the load is in game. I was using it to achieve 4K 30fps with a focus on the highest quality on my Vega 56 with Ryzen 7 1700. I ended up at 1800p with most the setting except 3 maxed out solid 30fps, no variations thanks to me using that wonderful benchmark.
