******SOLVED***** Error - Out of Memory?
*****HOW TO FIX YOUR GAME*****

Fixed by downgrading the version of the game (the newest patch probably ruined the game for us guys)

"While we expect this patch to be an improvement for everyone, if you do have trouble with this patch and prefer to stay on the old version we have made a Beta available on Steam, Build 230.6, that can be used to switch back to the previous version. You can access this by right-clicking on Shadow of the Tomb Raider in your game library, selecting 'properties' then navigate to the 'Betas' tab. Select the previous build from the Beta drop down menu." - by the developer.

Error: Out of Memory, requested 7739,9MB, total free 3072.1MB? The hell?

I get this error every single time during the LOGOs screen of SQUARE ENIX, NVIDIA etc.

Nope, my HDD and SSD are not full and there is plenty of free space.

i7 8086k, 16GB DDR4 3000MHz, GTX 1080Ti.

Can anyone help me with the issue, please?

Thanks.

I was able to play the game yesterday, on its early access period.

Already tried:

- Restart the PC
- Check if my Windows is 64-bit
- Verified the files
- Turning DirectX 12 feature off

I take it you dont have any other "stuff" open while trying to run the game?

Open task manager and check how much memory is in use and make sure to close down anything that's using RAM that you don't need running. Otherwise, sounds like your Swap File is limited. I'd suggest increasing it past the requested amount or let Windows automatically handle it. This site will show you how:

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/increase-page-file-size-virtual-memory-windows

Also, IF that doesn't work, just make sure you're not running 32-bit Windows. I know it sounds absurd but 32-bit Windows has a RAM address limit of around 3GB as well.

This could very well be the case that hes running 32bit windows, especially because only 3 gb is available... Windows alone (32bit) uses around 1gb, so it could be the case

Thank you very much, yes, im on the 64-bit Windows. Virtual memory should be fine as well.

I just found a way how to... lets say downgrade the game to the "beta" version (or at least the version we have played in the early access) gonna try if it works again.
