Guys disable DX 12 , Its set to on by default
I was getting some frame drops, pretty sure they are gone now. DX 12 was activated by default and really doesnt work for me.
Just saying if anyone wants to try disabling it....

No, DX12 is awesome sauce. It's 2018...the game is utilizing it to it's core

Runs way smoother with DX12 on a GTX 1070.

It depends on your specs. For some ppl DX11 will be better and vice versa.

My card does support direct x 12 but my windows 7 dont :)

Only use DX12 if you have a compatible setup, DX11 is good for older cards and non supported hardware, DX12 will only boost performance with DX12 compatible cards and systems.

This game is one of the best DX12 implementation. Congrat to the devs.

For real the best so far, a lot of people are using it with outdated hardware hence these sorts of threads.

DX12 is only option for HDR as well so definitely sticking with DX12. If you don't have a 10 series card then you likely want DX11.

I tried both and DirectX 12 runs a lot better for me. (Radeon R9 390 and Core i5 4690K)

DX12 is just a flop. 11 is still the best for cards up to 1000 series. Microshit knows this and that's why they had to force windows 10 down everyone's throats or not many people would be using their bloatware/spyware sad excuse for OS.

DX12 is the new DX10. A flop.

Of course in win10 dx11 will run worse most of the time, it's intended.
