Whole game has a greyish look/mute colors!

Hey everybody!
i'm having a problem with the freshly released Sottr. Over the whole game it has a very greyish look, dark/black tones as well as bright/white tones are just grey, the image has very low depth and looks mute. For example this was not present in Rise of the Tomb Raider. I tried various graphic settings and am running all settings on high now in DX12, performance is great.

The greyish looks makes it very unenjoyable though.

I've had similar experiences playing HDR movies on my non-hdr screen, but those issues where resolved by the playback app, making it look normally. Since I have a non-hdr-screen all hdr-features are turned off.

My system specs:
Ryzen 2700x
32GB Ram 3200mhz
MSI 1070ti 8gb
Msi X470 Board

Running the game in my monitors native 1440p resolution.

Has anybody else seen this happen and maybe knows a solution?

same here, it's like someone miscalibrated the saturation settings.

Of course I did that already, graphics drivers are the newest, game files are verified. This can't be the issue.

I don't think it looks very grey.. but maybe i'm blind :)

It's dark and grey at first.
When you get to the jungle, it's beautifully bright, and green.

Well obviously there is a bug occuring for me, I'm in the jungle parts already and it for sure doesnt look like it should!

yeah, it looks kinda like theres a slight haze or fog hanging about in most areas
