Crafting fire arrows (PC)

I need fire arrows and the game says to press 1 and then press both mouse buttons to craft fire arrows. I have all materials, yet I can only craft regular arrows. What am I doing wrong?

For me game tells to press middle button (scroll wheel) and it works for me.

don't aim and press middle button, just press it when she's standing still and she will craft it herself

The middle mouse button only brings up a weapons selector wheel, but I managed to re-map the Craft Fire Arrows function to G, so now I can craft fire arrows.

Scrolling is supposed to bring up the wheel, pressing the button is meant to craft

Wheel has three functions: scroll up, scroll down, press button -- but with some mice I've had trouble using that "press button" properly without scrolling.

Annira, before you start calling people names you should read all posts. If you did you would have seen I already remapped the key and got it working.

Better keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove it! :-)

Hold right mouse button for aim, mid mouse button for fire

I had to my keys to get it to work as well.

Remapping is a very good option, specially during challenge runs. I hate when I have to press the middle button.

On my view a regular mouse is not suitable for games. I would get a gaming mouse or at least a mouse with side buttons. Mine has a button on the left of my index finger, which makes it so much easier to craft these arrows and shoot them. The wheel has to be never pressed.

For KB/M, make sure your arrows are fire arrow and press MMB to craft.
In Rise, I lost my MMB so I remapped the key to "G" and since I like that key for crafting on the run, I have remapped the crafting button so all special ammo is crafted with "G."
