Or just turn the brightness up in the game display settings. I actually lowered the game brightness by 5 points because it was too bright. =P
No idea if this one is a bug or not.
Anyway i still think you should have the chance to manually activate the light whenever you want. In 2018 i think is a must have feature for an adventure game like Tomb Raider
FFS, it's on when I don't need it and off when I do. Why in the hell would you take control of such a simple yet necessary item from us?
Please let me turn on my flashlight when "I" need it, instead of turning it on and off when "you" think I will.
Perhaps there's dark areas that if we could shine a light there, we'd see the digital void of an unfinished area?
In some super dark areas now im forced to increase the brightness to the max just to see where im going. Completely nonsense to me. In all adventure games i tried even in the past, if you have a light you can turn it on off at your will. But not in Tomb Raider. Apparently the light here is just an optional you dont need
I actually sent them an email requesting this several days ago.
Turning up the brightness doesn't do the trick in some cases, for example if you are playing on a projector like I do dark information gets lost quite easily. Flashlight would be awesome. Also, I have the feeling that in the last games the flashlight / torch got activated way more often.
