Can't Rotate

Can't rotate the crate using a and d buttons. Is this a bug or am I just missing something?

Very beginning at the game, I didn't see any pyramid yet. I need to first pull and then relase the crate to make some woods break. I interacted with the pulley mechanism and it's saying to push the a and d buttons but it doesn't work. I tried to press them at the same time, and press them back to back, and also tried to interact with the mouse. but only movement I get is Lara leaning back a little bit.

Edit: Yes it was the pyramid mission, somehow I didn't see that giant thing.

I'm stuck at the same point. I cannot rotate the crank. Holding D makes Lara lean back slightly but the crank does not turn.

So far this just isn't feeling as polished as the first two games... :(

Ah! Just got it.

Get the cart on the turntable and then use the crank while the rope is attached to the pole on the right side of the turntable (looking down from the crank towards the cart)

Just hold A or D to rotate it.
You let go of it with C.

Maybe restart from checkpoint? Maybe the cart is blocking it?

It took me bashing at my keyboard to find how to cancel out too... :D

Ok turns out we need to rotate the turntable by conneting the two pulleys and rotate it, then we can pull the cart from the top pulley. Feeling silly :( I don't know what is wrong with me.

Ok, for all the people stuck here, I was one of them. Turn off direct x 12 and now the platform animation will work and it will turn. Absolutely mental.
