i have in game menu sound but nothing at all during gameplay

Same issue. Sound from her comes and goes. After exit from the first area, her voice disappeared all together

Make sure you have you audio settings in Windows correct. This issue is usually caused by having 5.1 speakers set in Windows sound and then playing over stereo speakers or headphones.

I will try this I changed language have latest drivers on other games audio working music working pc restarted steam restarted game settings changed and now reinstalling the game and I also changed audio from 5.1 to stereo let's see if it works but thanks for trying to help :-P

This worked for me - Realtek sound manager was set to 7.1 sound and windows to Stereo - Hadn't seemed to have problem with other games. Many thanks Jac!

I have no dialogue sound when playing off of my Nvidia Shield. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I've tried other language in steam app the the other language works fine only English language pack doesn't work?

I had the same problem, I struggled with this isssue like 2 hours, but then I simply moved the game from disc E to disc C and it solved the whole problem. So to move/reinstall your game to all of these discs before do anything else. I hope this will help someone, because this is issue is so frustrating and even more frustrating to fix it.

I was able to fix it by verifying the files integrity verses having to reinstall
