What happened to Lara's iconic tops?

I'm talking about her white/green tank-top and her green shirt that showed a bit of her bossom. Lara looked waaaaay sexier in those IMHO.

No doubt there is some aspect of 'SJW' bollocks in the design of the modern Lara. She is still sexy though IMO, she is still an idealised woman. I'd bet the game would get negative crap from feminist idealogues if she was overtly sexy and developers are aware of this. .

Plus it fits with the new character, she isn't the over confident, arrogant Lara from the original games, if you know her character you'd know she wouldn't bother wearing things to titilate the men around her. She wears what works for what she needs to do.

Her new outfits are an homage to her original design. She still has the blue top but now it is a moisture wicking athletic vest. Her pants are the same colour as her old shorts but now they are hardwearing and reinforced for jungle exploration.

based on latest video lara is completely flat now. looking beautiful with feminine curves are not strong women but the trend now is black, lesbian, average looking jane are all representation of strong women. look at the reboot at she-ra and you know what i'm talking about. that's not a girl. it's actually a boy.

if fans continue to throw money in supporting these agendas developers/publishers think they are doing the right thing. i have boycott the tomb raider series since RoTR.

i'm all for strong, non-white, average/chubby and even UGLY female protagonist. SJW developers should grow a spine and show the world how you can do that by NOT ruining iconic character such as Lara Croft. please create a trans, fat and ugly heroine and make it successful and a success worldwide and not promoting your agenda through ruining franchise.

show us that you are not a coward and you can show the world lgbt and ugly people are stronk. pls take up this challenge and stop ruining lara croft.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game fails to meet sales expectations like Rise did, and Square shelves the IP. They already gave Crystal the boot and relegated them to "advisors" for Shadow because of Rise.

Wait, so Shadow isn't by CD? Damn shame. Crossing my fingers the IP doesn't get shelved. Square needs to realize we don't want a shy, reluctant, Lara Croft (except the first game, where it was understandable. But after three games? C'mon).

Both games literally sold more than 18 million, they're far from flops.

Also, you actually get to see a tiny bit of Laras cleavage with one of the outfits, it's not much, but it's better than anything we got in Rise :)

TR2013 sold well but took a while to break even.
Rise sold way less than TR2013. different reasons for this but that's the data.

so not total flops, but still well below expectations.
