Game not buyable on steam anymore. Why?

Wanted to buy the game on steam and all i get is its not buyable, but the DLC stuff is. WHY?!

Sorry to not make it sound like im stupid. But i wanted the game without the dlc's.
Was not expecting to be forced to buy all of it, just to play it. Thats just dumb and made me think of not buying it.

The original version has been replaced with the Definition Edition including all of the DLCs. The price of the new edition is way cheaper than the last one. How come would you not want to buy it ?

Good question and my respond to that would be.
Was not looking for the hole bundle, but the game alone. True it's cheap right now because of the bundle and the extra discount added to it, but was still hoping for just buying the game without the dlc included.
Again i know it seems better this way for it to be sold out like that. Also cause the way it was shown in the store when i got there made me think it was not able to buy it, and only thought that the dlc was only possible to buy. Some games has that thing of keeping dlc but not the games.

Yeah why would people be upset with the base game being inaccessible. It's not like the gaming company in question has a history of creating DLC to extend the price of a game and it's not like they're using the bundle to raise the base price of the game when some people don't want the DLC...

Everyone keeps saying the Definitive Edition But Shadow and the original game are not the same story line. So basically the last game in this series is not able to be purchased through Steam and that really is lame :/

What are you talking about? What storyline differences are there supposedly between shadow of the tomb raider and shadow of the tomb raider definitive edition?
