Definitive edition: not seeing DLC tombs

I bought the definitive edition. Beat the game on One With The Jungle difficulty. Now I'm in search of extras and stuff.

None of the DLC tombs seem to be up, though. For example, I looked up The Forge. It's supposed to start with a questgiver in Kuwak Yaku, in a pink house north of base camp, according to the guide and screenshots on tombraiders.net. So I go there, and there's no NPC.

If I try to go straight to The Forge from the main menu, or any of the other DLCs, it just sends me to the store.

What am I missing? I don't think it's supposed to be this hard to find things.

Where did you buy the game from?

On the game page, check that all DLC is ticked, verify the game files, then restart steam.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it on Steam. It says it's in my library. There's no list of DLC to check (like I'd see in Stellaris, for example, but Stellaris doesn't show anything as checked either in the Steam UI). I'll try verifying files.

Files verified, 100%. Steam restarted. Game restarted. Every one of the seven Additional Tombs still shows a shopping cart next to it in the main menu, and pops me out to the store page if I try to select it. Still no NPC at the pink house.

Gotta head out; will check back tomorrow.

? Bottom right of the library page, select manage dlc

When did you buy the game though? Your game count profile badge shows it was updated last in October which would have been before the definite edition was released. (Assuming it is right)

A-ha! I searched my emails for Steam purchases, and dated this same as you. You're right; it couldn't have been Definitive.

I'm getting thrown by it because Steam says "the Definitive Edition is currently in your library". Dunno why it would do that.

My guess is it's because Square is lazy and only wants to maintain one page, so all of us who own the standard edition now see the definitive edition info.
