Skip the Launcher

Hi. For Rise of the Tomb Raider I hated the launcher at the start. I play with a controller so don't like switching back to keyboard and back to controller for no reason. Shadow has the same problem, and luckily the same solution.

If you want to skip the launcher for the game you can easily do so.
Just find the game in your Steam library
right click and select properties
in the General tab (first tab) choose startup options
and in the text box type -nolauncher
save and the next time you start the game it will go right into the game.

If it helps you great. If you don't care or think this is useless maybe go outside and try to enjoy your day.

When the game first came out it didnt launch the launcher till the new updates. But I see what you mean. I did what you said but it didn't work. I even restarted steam and still starts up with the launcher but oh well.

And in case anyone didn't knew this command line trick also works with Tomb Raider 2013 (TR 2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (RotTR).
