I Don't Know What's Going On??? (SPOILER)

After Unuratu is killed and Lara is ambushed, I was not able to use my guns and could only use my bow and arrows. Also for the ambush to save Colqui mission I wasn't able to use my guns. I've watched others play it on YTube and they get to use guns for these fights. I also can not make poison venom arrows even though I've had the skill for a long time now. It only lets me make fire arrows. I'm 65% through so I'd think by now I could craft those. I can do the hallucinogen arrows, just not the poison venom arrows :((

You need to collect the insects with the confusion symbol on them, in order to create venomed arrows. (there are two types of insect, the other is for potions, I believe)

There are several points in the game wherein they take away some of your weapons and outfits for story purposes.

I have tons of venom. I kill every beetle and insect I see. For the last part that's what I fgured, that the game doesn't let you play with the guns in certain parts but like I said, I just watched ChristopherOdd play the same part and he got to use all his guns. He got through that part like nothing.

Okay figured out the poison arrow thing since it's already been addressed in here before. Still don't understand why some players get to use their guns in parts where I couldn't though.
