yes, ways the game sometimes slows you down are annoying. especially if you play on hardcore difficulty. one mistake - and you have to watch all unskipable cutscenes and slow walking sequences again and again and again

Yeah exactly dude. Lara jump off the wrong direction and missed the edge entirely? Ok, time to watch the 3 min unskippable cutscene again lmfao.

Its okay that we cant skip all the scenes in first playthrough. Maybe give us the option to skip all in Game +.

Not being able to skip cutscenes the first watch of it is fine, but the next 2-3 times after you die and are still forced to watch it gets annoying, especially on deadly obession.

cutscenes are loading screens in disguise. the unskippable onces, and the slow walking segments, are there because there's also rendering, streaming and transition stuff going on behind the scenes.

same goes for some of the exploration and underwater setpieces, especially those that take a while to traverse: they are purposely placed in a specifc manner in order to have the next big area ready by the time you get there.

Ok it sounded like you were saying that unskippable cutscenes on the first playthrough, despite how many times you have died and are forced to rewatch that cutscene, still should be unskippable because it is the first playthrough and that the option to skip all cutscenes should only be in Ng+.

There are about 1 hour of cutscenes that are unskippable - yeah 60 minutes of unskippable cutscenes!

Also in OB the loading seems to be artificially made longer, if you die in OB it takes over a minute, while else it's ~10-30 seconds, this makes dying in OB even more annoying and if there are unskippable cutscenes in between you have to watch them all again and then there also are all those forced slow walk parts and areas, so annoying!

It is an exuse, that player should not care about, and it sounds like console trick, because stock consoles have slow laptop hdd, or even read a ton of data directly from blu ray disc.
I have it installed on SSD and it seems like they purposefully make it unskippable by showing you the "loading" icon if you press buttons. BUT no matter how long the cut-scene is, it will never let you skip them. It for sure has to be loaded at some point but they wont let you skip it.
