Problems at 4k

I'm having several issues with the game at 4k and am looking to fix these. They aren't performance issues.

When I put the game in 4k it switches to 30hz for the monitor. When I change it to 60hz, the screen gets stretched out and turns a green tint.

I also tried at 1440p, but it won't allow me to pick anything other than 30hz for the refresh rate.

I don't have any of these issues at 1080p.

Just looking for any suggestions.

Cheap/old/faulty display cable.

I agree, it sounds like you are using an older HDMI cable that can't support the throughput required for 4k at 60hz.

Might be a hardware bound issue? Maybe your screen/ graphics card can't output 4k@60hz? If u use HDR have u tried to switch it off? Also sometimes low quality cables can limit the output to 30hz from my experience. If u feel insulted now since u know your hardware very well then forget about the lines above :D

Have u tried switching off exclusive fullscreen? Additionally u could try to set 4k@60hz in windows as your resolution and try if it works windowed/not exclusive fullscreen.

Well it seems to be the cable. Seems weird since a few days ago it was working fine with Destiny at 4K, but maybe it got hit or it was just it's time. Thanks for the replies everyone.
