gold in paititi (clue from outcast)

during the mission where you have to get the dice back one of the outcasts tells you about a stash of gold that the cult uses as a dropoff. its located inside a building in the cellar. how do i get to it?

You can shoot a rope arrow above you to make a shortcut.

Fast travel to Paititi market, there's a building right infront of you with blue paintings on two windows. Go inside there should be an underwater tunnel entrance straight ahead. You can get to the gold from there. :)

yeh its bugged for me too, collected the gold but still have the white icon.

The white icon stays because you can keep going back and picking up gold. Think that's why they says it's a 'drop-off' point. I've collected the gold multiple times now.

That makes surprising amount of sense. I thought I just couldn't find the right spot, but eventually I figured out it might be bugged

if you aim at things you can shoot at (like those frog collectibles) it enables the bow

Found location, didn't found a gold

Most likely you didn't find the correct spot.
If you follow the water way from the house with 2 blue cloths hanging from the windows, you'll eventually get to a backpack. Once collected, climb up the wall behind this spot and you will find teh gold (which keeps respawning which is why the white icon never goes away). If you look at the ceiling of that room, you'll see the rope covered wood, pull that down, go to the left end of that opening (where there is no wood) you can climb up and out of that waterway without having to back track.
