Lighting issues in SLI (mgpu)
I have 2x 980 TI's in SLI. Most of the settings are maxed, except textures I have "high" instead of "very high" due to limited VRAM.

I notice that ambient light flickers in the background each time the "scene"/camera changes. After a few seconds it stablilizes. It's most annoying during cinematic events where the camera constantly changes to different characters/views. Camera movement is fine, it's just when it's a different view altogether.

Also, if there's a bright light - like when it's peaking through a hole in a cave roof, for example - and I turn the camera, the light also moves with the camera (like the light stays in the same spot on screen, even though its "source" has moved). Then as soon as I stop turning, the light moves back to where it's actually supposed to be.

I thought this was just general lighting issues with the game, but one time I played and didn't realize the SLI got disabled in the driver and the game was playing perfectly without these issues.

I have this too
Same here. It's a problem with the latest patch. Really detracts from the cutscenes.
i had 2x 980, and same problme with dx12 SLI/mGPU the game crashs in full screen. Try in windowed mode. Though bearly saw any in provement in the game performace.
Got the 2080 and game move really smooth.

Hope this helps.
I also have this now, I thought one of my cards was dying or something. It's awful if you're in a scene with lots of mirrors and shafts of light.

They broke it and I bet they will never fix it
Same here 2x1080ti in sli, didnt notice it at launch, was this caused by a patch? It's really distracting in cuteness :(
For me this has happened since launch. Would be great if they could fix it, probably not top priority though..
Same...bored waiting a fix from devs...
Roll back to Build 230.9 (right click in your library, properties, betas tab, select Build 230.9 from the drop down).
Same problem for me here too - 1080ti sli - it's so annoying. Definately not there at launch, but the earlier patches tend to crash my game at certain points, like in the hidden city on the murder investigation side quest.
same here with nvlink/sli on 2080ti's, even with latest hotfix driver from Nvidia (which fixed all other issues and even crashing). However, the light flickering on intros and certain camera scenes still persists.

If SLI is disabled, it does not occur.

Yeah I've noticed increased crashes since reverting too :/
It is still not fixed. Two months since release, guys...
Yup, I'm having the same problem with two 980Tis in SLi (DX12 mGPU, newest drivers and game patch)... :steamsad:
Also: HBAO+ flickers after I launch the game - switching to another antialiasing method and back, so that the renderer reinitilizes (or whatever happens there), fixes this for most of the game, although there are parts where it still flickers no matter what; kinda like VXAO does in Rise of the Tomb Raider... :pandastunned:

BTW: nGreedia should have put 8 GB of VRAM on the 980Ti because this becomes a limiting factor in quite a few cases, like in this game, but of course they've always been stingy with VRAM sizes... :steamfacepalm:
