Also the fight is not that hard... took me 2 tries on hardest difficulty because i ducked of the ledge on first try...
Just keep your distance, dodge alot, keep the def/focus/reveal mictures up all the time. Don't even try to do it with stealth.
I agree though that sometimes i realy felt the lack of a campfire. Like in the cenote. If you fail the scripted running event you need to start over from before the door puzzle with UNSKIPABLE cutscene in the middle... Not to mention if you fail one jump when climbing out...
EDIT:// Deadly obsession is meant to be hard :P
I'll try your strategy. And yeah I also died at Cenote and had to run everything again :D
1. clear henchmen
*
2. break the altar part
3. clear henchmen
* repeat 3 times
*
4. shoot boss and stab him
5. clear henchmen
* repeat 5 times
6. profit :V
and like i said earlier the reveal herb realy helps here if you have the show enemies skill
Still failed that overhang part several times, though.
I just want future achievements from season pass will not force me to play on hardest difficulty. (or never add achievements for season pass content, please)
You're confusing hard for stupidly annoying :P
DO isn't hard.. hell the entire game even on harder difficulty is easier than the vast majority of games on easy in all honesty.
I'd probably go as far as to say this is the easiest TR game by a milestone.
What makes DO "hard" is how unfairly it punishes you if you die.
And its not so much a legitimate punishment as it is more a complete and total waste of your damn time forcing you to reply usually buggy segments of the game which are often the reason you died in the first place but worst of all is forcing you to sit through the same damn cutscenes over and over and over again..
It's gotten to the point for me that once I beat DO which will probably be very soon (Edit yep done), I'm never going to want to play this game again..
Not because I didn't enjoy it.. I enjoyed it a lot on my first playthough which was literally days ago..
But having to sit through the same cutscenes over and over due to deaths that were mostly caused by bugs, has made those cutscens severely annoying and i'm so sick of seeing them at this point it's going to significantly effect my interest in playing through the game again in future.
And I severely doubt i'm alone here when I say that..
I skipped through those that could.
yes that difficulty is just cheap not hard but cheap and time consuming.
lol
The final boss fight requires his minons are not in your way, so kill them 1st. Most cut scene's you can skip the small talk and move on, only a few require you sit and just listen.
