Run time for the base game for a seasoned raider, 35hrs. For season pass holders, the 7 DLC's fit in like an expantion pak and will add 8+ hrs. to your time.
To view the added content, goto the store page, click on the DLC tab and it will take you to the page where they are listed. All 7 DLC's come with the season pass. If you decide you don't want the pass, you can buy any of the add-on tombs you want, 1 at a time, except the Path Home DLC that only come's from buying the season pass, each tomb come's with, 1 new weapon, 1 new outfit, and 1 new skill. If your unsure about any of this, download the demo and play it.That's about 1hr. of play time. Any other questions? Ask now.
The whole lot should keep you busy for over 40h. If you take the time to explore and collect, that is.
In order to play the season pass he needs to own the base game first, which he doesn't. Cost of the croft edition is cheaper than base game plus season pass.
Without the base game he wouldn't even be able to buy the season pass anyway.
I had early access last year and paid 1 price for all. I've not had to look at the store page for any price changes since my game was complete. When he quoted a price of $119.00usd only then did I glance at the page.
If you have a better deal for him, the floor is yours.
