Which TR game has the most exploration and least combat?
Hello all.
I really like the exploration aspects of the game, searching for long lost treasures etc.
Im not so much a fan of combat.
Which TR game has the most exploration and least combat?
Would love to find a game that concentrates on the exploration and discovery aspects, following clues, doing research that eventually leads to the discovery and exploration of said tomb.

This is the one with least combat in the new trilogy. It also has the most tombs (especially with the dlc) of the new games.

Get the croft edition of shadow. This game is more tomb raider than the previous 2. Lots more exploration and tombs.

I guess every tomb raider game before the reboot has more exploration then all the new games summed up :D

True. Legend has its fair bit of action but still lots to explore as well.

If you do decide to but SotTR, my recommendation would be to playthrough and do all the additional side tombs as you go. Then when doing a NG+ playthrough do all the DLC tombs.

Many thanks all.
Do the tomb DLC's have to be plaid in any particular order?

The game will give you prompts as you pass from one area to another, however some tombs cannot be done until you receive certain items, like the pick axes and shotgun.

In that case you have to visit old games like Tomb Raider: Legends, Anniversary and Underworld.

I remember playing the first TR game. Was blown away by the amazing views during exploration :)
I keep hoping for a game that involves chasing clues, researching obscure manuscripts and maps, organising the logistical aspects of the expedition etc.
Imagine the build up, even before you set foot in an ancient tomb :)
