so devs basically ripping off everyone who refused to give money to Nacon and waited when it return to devs hands
About the prices - the game was sold for the equivalent of $10-15 in some regions and we had to adjust that.
It's something about regional pricing.
In some places, the regional price is higher than if the game simply had to be bought straight up in USD, which defeats the entire purpose of regional pricing.
It's like... reverse regional pricing... making things even MORE expensive in some places whose currency is comparatively weaker to the USD than if you simply didn't have regional pricing at all.
I'd very strongly recommend taking a look at your numbers again.
At minimum, use Steam's suggested prices. They're not perfect, but I have a feeling they're gonna be better than whatever you're doing now.
and? everyone treat differently reginal pricing. someone more greedy than others. and im surprised to see that Nacon less greedy than Frogwares, cus in some regions game cost now up to 2.5x more...
Deluxe Edition isn't a fair comparison, since there's more stuff in it now. You have to compare individual things.
Base price of the main game in USD hasn't changed (40$ USD). Base price of Worshippers of the Necronomicon (only "big" DLC there was before things changed) is actually a bit cheaper now (15$ to 13$ USD).
Problem is that it's gone up for multiple non-USD places.
Yeah, I don't know what they're thinking... for many countries, it would be cheaper if there just wasn't any regional pricing at all and people just had to pay in USD... which is insane.
My point, though, is that the base price (assuming the base price is USD) of the game hasn't gone up.
Devs are just confused about regional pricing... hopefully they'll fix that.
There's a difference between "We're raising the price of the game!" and "Regional pricing is confusing and we don't know what we're doing."
You are so ignorant going around and spewing this false rhetoric. It's Frogwares' game, they're back. You know nothing and should be banned from speaking in discussions for this game after all the false accusations you've left.
Do you often do trollwork for Nacon? Do you get paid well?
