Yeah me too, every time I go to try and go to the expedition headquarters after the first mission the game just crashes

The problem must be with the Nvidia drivers. After yesterday's update, I experience stuttering every 1-3 minutes in Stalker 2 and here. After rolling back to a previous driver version (576.28), everything works fine. So, it must be Nvidia messing up again

The main problem is that Stalker 2 is still in early access.

I just bought the deluxe edition. I had no idea about this game, but thanks to the surprise release of this remaster, I discovered it, and I think it's a really interesting game.
I'm installing it and will play it for a while. I'll share my experience later.

Intro after the New Game option? Or right after the launch of the app?
Have you tried changing graphics settings to Low?
Also, if updating GPU drivers isn't working for you, the thing that might work - is to rollback to earlier versions of the GPU driver

I don't have the original version anymore in my library, only the remasterd, Generally when things like this happen, and an improved version comes out, the "old" versions remain in the library.
