Q. I own the original The Sinking City 2019 release. How do I play the remaster?

A. Switch between the original and the remaster in the option window that pops up after launching The Sinking City Remastered from your Steam library.

Q. What are the minimum system requirements for The Sinking City Remastered?

A. Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700, 3.60GHz or AMD equivalent, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or AMD equivalent, and 16GB RAM minimum.

Q. I'm experiencing performance issues, what should I do?

A. Enabling upscaling and \ or frame generation should help noticeably improve your performance. You can also try lowering your graphics settings.

Q. Are saves compatible between the original and the remaster?

A. No, but you can download these save files[drive.google.com] and put them inside %localappdata%\TSCGame\Saved\SaveGames.

Common Issues

Q. Black screen when after loading.

A. Most probably, HDR is enabled. Go to Settings > Video > HDR brightness and change setting slider just a bit. It should help.

Q. My game crashes a lot, what do I do?

A. Please update your drivers to the latest version. If this doesn't help, reach out to us at frogwares.com/support.

Q. Nvidia Frame Generation isn't working.

We're looking into this.

Q. HDR is washed out for me.

Please try adjusting HDR in the game's Settings > Video > Scroll all the way down to find HDR settings.

Frame generation does not work
Could we have an option to uninstall the old version?
67 fps on a 4090 with DLSS set to performance. HDR seems broken aswell (much to bright and washed out) and the game crashes withing the first 2 minutes. Dang.
Went to Gameplay option and could not go back to main menu, Esc would not work

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I just upgraded yesterday. I discovered that the remaster shipped with a missing DLL file for the frame generation, so that's why frame generation cannot work in the current state. Please forward this information to the devs for a hotfix, thanks!

The provided save game files are not accessible, needs permission.
This isn't exactly gameplay related or anything. but is this remaster going to be available for Epic Game Store users? It isn't showing up for me, and I gotta say, it would be pretty irritating to know that I bought this game at release on a storefront that I didn't want to buy it on, along with all the DLC, due to the at launch exclusivity only to find out that I'm being excluded from a free remaster.

Hopefully, that is not the case and it's just Epic Games Store being Epic Games Store :)

Yes, absolutely! The remaster should launch on EGS within days, if not sooner.
