Difference in versions (DLCs)
I'm talking about the Deluxe Version on Gamesplanet vs the Necronomicaon bundle here. I don't really care about the legal dispute but I notice that the price difference is huge. The GP version rarely seems to get much of a discount.

How does the Investigator pack compare to Merciful Madness? Doesn't seem to warrant a $25 difference.

Deluxe edition include main game + 2 side story dlc's. Necronomicon and Merciful madness. Here in steam they only sell Necronomicon and investigator pack that adds first aid/mental medication kit and some crafting material in your hotel room.

In sort, one adds just stuff, other adds whole new mission.

It looks like you can buy the Necronomicon Edition here for $25, then go to Origin and get Merciful Madness for $13 which is still less than the GP Deluxe edition and have all of the additional content from both editions.

^ Can you simply put the files in the Steam folder? Gog and Steam are often compatible but I never used Origin, only for Titanfall 2 and Crysis

You can buy DLC on Origin for Steam games and they do work. The reverse does not work, however.
