The sinking city not loading save after update. Missing DLC

I went to play the sinking city just now, and I noticed a 14 GB update. After the update was complete I started the game and it says.. "unable to load save because the following DLC content is missing: Worshipers of the Necronomicon" has anyone else experienced this

No even one day back on steam and has already problems.

You are wrong it returned on June 19, so 11 days passed since it returned, they just released update that replaced the old build with the new build that has achievements, but unfortunately they removed the DLC that weren't supposed to be in there in the first place.

I did not know, sorry.
I guess we just have to wait for them to fix the mess they caused

I would love to buy this if they would release a complete version with both achievements and DLC. I was considering settling for just the DLC and hoping achievements get added in later, but it looks like that's not an option if they're willing to STEAL THE DLC from people who bought it. I've been following this game for a long time now and it's virtually impossible to tell which version is for sale at any given time. Are the bugs fixed? Does it have achievements? Does it have DLC? Who f*cking knows?? Now that I've learned that whatever version I do buy can randomly turn into another version without warning, it's just not worth the effort any more. Congrats, Steam and Nacom (and maybe Frogwares too, the whole legal battle gives me a headache), you've made a game I was really looking forward to completely unbuyable.

This is a scam, we should all be refunding this, game gets released, we purchase is good faith, then after months there is an update and all saves are broken. Achievements are not important, a working game is

Has anyone found a fix for this? Will purchasing the new DLC on steam fix the issue or is any previous save just useless at this point?
