God game or city builder?
"Lean back, relax and watch the bustling life of your villagers or actively get involved to speed up processes and move workers and resources directly where they are needed."

What does this mean? If I just want to sit and watch, will the peasants build their stuff on their own or do I have to put down every building myself? Think Godus for reference.

I've been looking for a good god game for VR.

Well you could check out the video section and watch some lets plays to get a better impression.
In the current state it is more a god game I would say. You have to assign the Townies but you don't have a complex city to build yet.

I'm happy to hear that. I feel like VR is better suited for god games than full blown city builders. I'll check some gameplay videos out before deciding. thanks

That's a shame really, this could be a fantastic The Settlers inspired game.

Well the Townsmen series is also Settlers inspired.
Right now there is just not enough to organize like real production chains because of not so many buildings and just a small island to play with.
We don't know yet how exactly the game will feel in the end...

I gave the game a try through Viveport sub.

It feels amazing to play, albeit a bit on the short side. The feeling of zooming in and out is something I've never experienced in a game before. It doesn't just zoom out, making you feel like you're farther away, it makes you feel BIGGER. Like the whole island is just a pancake with tiny buildings ontop. It's a weird but immersive feeling I don't think you could get outside of VR.

Other than that, it's a nice mix between feeling like a god and still have tthe ability to send individual peasants to work and place buildings on your own. Like I said, a bit short, but still had a good time. Can't wait to see what the future brings to this game.

Definitely will have this title on my radar, but I don't think it's worth it in the stage it is now. Good luck with the development.

@Chashmodai if you like this style of gameplay try Tethered, it's fantastic.
