Well you could check out the video section and watch some lets plays to get a better impression.
In the current state it is more a god game I would say. You have to assign the Townies but you don't have a complex city to build yet.
Right now there is just not enough to organize like real production chains because of not so many buildings and just a small island to play with.
We don't know yet how exactly the game will feel in the end...
It feels amazing to play, albeit a bit on the short side. The feeling of zooming in and out is something I've never experienced in a game before. It doesn't just zoom out, making you feel like you're farther away, it makes you feel BIGGER. Like the whole island is just a pancake with tiny buildings ontop. It's a weird but immersive feeling I don't think you could get outside of VR.
Other than that, it's a nice mix between feeling like a god and still have tthe ability to send individual peasants to work and place buildings on your own. Like I said, a bit short, but still had a good time. Can't wait to see what the future brings to this game.
