The closest thing to Spartacus or a Nat Turner. An expert warrior who doesn't waste his time with learning magic...or reading books at all, for that matter. A merciless guerilla who believes God guides his victories, who is loved among the small folk, but the bane of the landed elites.
2COM makes the build work, because it makes it easier to have a high anarchy run where you brutalize the nobility while taking fairly minimal casualties. Other than that, you can take a point in INT instead of CHA, honestly neither are that important (though INT let's you raid Architelone).
I beat the Archon's Army with this dude and an army of 438 armed adult rebels. Not saying much, though, since you can beat the Archon with any build. Though I haven't figured out how it can be done with a 2CHA spec, or if you let the Harrowing happen and get thrown in the dungeon.
Of course, I won't be surprised if in a future game a high Int will also cause more trouble for the MC
I think 2COM and 2INT are much more popular than 2CHA, at least from what I've seen on the forums. I think it's because "badass warrior/strategist" and "secretive super-smart wizard" are more distinctive than the 2CHA build.
And I imagine this would have more impact later on since later books may then start having segments focused on nation building as your rebellion gains more success.
I was Noble, Low Anarchy, Devout/Cosmopolitan. Leaned Ruthless, but didn't get enough points in time. If I were to do it again, perhaps Compassionate might be better for a Low Anarchy run.
High charisma and medium fighting is the best outcome so far and will be determined in the next book. Charisma is useful in the infiltration route and if your being the good guy/gal rebel then it's kinda hard to reach the war part without high charisma.
Was sad I wasn't given mage options, but thanks to reading this thread, I see its linked to what stat is your main. So time for a second playthrough as 2 Int/1 Char. Though surviving winter again...ugh... -_-
