Is it possible to edit the auto-save files for the game? Or edit the initial stat choices directly?

Yeah, it's pretty easy. Just find the steam userdata section for it and open the store file for it. When in the steamuserdate file, just search "store" and open the file with the correct game name in the title and the word "state" at the end. This works for ALL of the choice games.

Thank you very much, figured it out. I hope they don't change it either since it's nice to be able to do this from time to time. I've played this on tablet like 15 times now, and just wanted to play one game without a weak point.

Did this recently get changed? I've played this to death on my tablet and bought it on Steam specifically because I wanted to mess around with cheats, but no matter what stat I change I get an error message "Unexpected token P in JSON at position 0"

I even change everything back to what it was and it still gives me that error. Hitting restart and starting the whole story over again fixes it, but that doesn't really help me wanting to mess around with stats.

I tried a couple things. My stats at first to 2/2/2, but that deffo didn't work.

Tried upping my wealth so I could just buy stuff, but it ended up crashing again. Maybe I went too high?

Maybe I'll try a smaller number.

Yeah, that is likely the case. You need at least 1 stat at three, of the game will have issues. All threes, though, works fine. HOWEVER, do not change your stats until after you set them, or the game will bug. Do not change your wealth until after your revolution starts, or there will be issues.

Where would I find the default steam user data file for this game?

I tried a few things for this. Changed stats to all 3's all 2's and tried combinations but I still get an error message. I tried after my stats were set and both before and after the rebellion started. Why isn't it working???

I didn't find the good file... I went to userdata but then not any "store" file, only a file named with random numbers. This : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\86851902"
Does someone understand my problem ? ^^

It is in that folder. Just type store into the search bar while you are at that folder. All the save files start with those 5 letters. For example, for the game War for the West, it is storePSwarforwestPSstate

i still get the errors

Are you trying to change the stats while the game is open? That could be the issue. You could also be trying to change the wrong number in the file. Also, please post the name of the file you are editing.
