Best Way to farm Sepith Mass
Ok...it was perfectly balanced in the first game.
Now it's nearly impossible to get upgraded equipment in the next town.
Anyone know the best monsters to farm sepith / sepith mass early game?
I'm right near gurellia fortress. (probably spelled that wrong)

I found mira to be a little bit better in CS2 due to the higher exchange rates on sepith mass and sepith. You'll still need to be somewhat careful on your purchases though.

As for Garrelia Byroad, you can try the Thunder Bees as they drop the most amount of sepith(33)/sepith mass(2) for that area.

Alternatively, you can try the Terra Shrine for the Ingot Beetle, they drop 34 sepith/3 mass and have a chance to drop U-Material (can never have enough of these).

Also, equip Scepter Master Quartz you got in Lunaria Nature park and put it on Fie. (since her basic attacks hit twice)

You can easily beat the game on nightmare without grinding for sepith or mira.

I guess I don't understand completionist OCD.

If you are going the completionist route, then the easiest thing to do is just to equip scepter on Fie and spam her S-Craft at 100 CP every other battle you can. Do this for the whole game and you'll end up with more sepith then you can count. Also make sure she also gets the veins.

Mira on the other hand is much harder to maintain if you are upgrading every chance you get. The most time saving thing to do is do the same as above, and exploit cooking onigiri as a quick top up. Then you just trade away whatever you don't need in sepith.

Of course, you'll also need to grind a large number of battles as well.

Make use of the DLC items you get. You will not 99 of any of the stuff at the beginning so just open DLC and sell it for big money fast in the beginning.

Except, I wouldn't recommend opening more than one U-Material DLC pack at a time, since there are 50 in a pack.

Oh yeah good point. I opened everything at once because I did not expect to get THAT much. :steamfacepalm:

Little late for that bud....
eh I'm not miffed since I can always farm U material in Yimer Valley from a few of the mobs there.
Do we ever go back to the nature park? I missed the chest there that has the Septer master Quartz in it...

You can get back to the nature park, but it'll be a while. Until Act 2, Part 2, in fact.

Ow, that far....
This is why I hate playing JRPG blind XD
Still the best way to enjoy them the first run through though :P

Grinding early on in this game is pointless, unless you find the chapter boss way too hard.

You could start farming when you have access the shrines, before that you just have to be selective what to buy/upgrade, only getting the best stuff for the 4 members you are going to use.
