The takeaway: "a couple of hours".
It's quite long if you want to fight everything but I feel like AO final dungeon is way bigger. Also final dungeon in cs2 changes, you can leave it and repeat some parts. Once you're there check phantasmal mirrors. These are unique items which are available only in this Trails game and they add some fun replayability of final dungeon.
Or you can just leave dungeon before finishing it, which will reset it (chests with quartz etc as well).
So like I said, I got through it in a couple of hours and watched the ending.
I sure could have used some more top-end quartz for that final boss though. He was scary.
I was the same way on my 1st playthorugh. On my 2nd playthrough I "discovered" phantasmal mirrors (which add some really funny party dialogues like between Rean and Lloyd ), then made a party with Elise Alfin and Towa kicking everybody's a$$ and I realized that this final dungeon, which had annoyed me 1st time I was there, has so much potential for fun gameplay that I ended up loving that place.
it'll probably won't take that long before you get whatever you're searching for if yo udo it that way.
